Flowering of the Cross

A bare wooden cross will be in our Bell Garden for Easter Day.  As we traditionally do, we will “flower” the cross with flowers that are donated and brought from parishioners either from a flower shop or your own garden. This is another powerful way to acknowledge Easter as the cross is brought to life with color and beauty in a living symbol of resurrection.  Be sure to bring flowers to share; there will be a table ready with flower prepping materials in the narthex on Easter Day. This is also a great way to have our children interact in the Easter Day service and the flowered cross is a nice place to take Easter pictures!
